We recently published an article full of helpful tips to help you navigate the second hand server hardware market on eBay!  You can find the post <a href=\"https:\/\/ioflood.com\/blog\/ebay-buyer-be-aware\/\">here:<\/a><\/li><li>This month again there has been more significant decreases in a lot of parts as well as a solid increase in availability. This is most likely still attributed to a lot of people getting out of the crypto market and selling off their hardware.<\/li><li>This month we&#8217;re seeing increased availability of larger size drives, both SSD&#8217;s and HDD&#8217;s. There has also been a marked increase in some prices of these drives as well.<\/li><li>As noted in our &#8216;Safe Buying Practices&#8217; blog post, this would probably be a really good time to exercise caution when it comes to buying used SSD&#8217;s, particularly if you don&#8217;t know their origins as crypto mining has been known to cause excessive wear in particular in SSD&#8217;s.<\/li><li>All in all, most parts across the board are starting to get back to where we would have expected them to be, pre crypto-mania.<\/li><li>This is our second month of tracking the Xeon Platinum 8160 CPU. The reason we&#8217;ve opted to add this CPU to our list is because at 24 cores and 150w TDP we felt this CPU provides a reasonable upgrade point from the E5v4 CPU without using too much additional power.
